TRANS WORLD CORPORATION (“TWC” or the “Company”), formerly TRANS WORLD GAMING CORP. (“TWG”), is a publicly-traded, small capitalization company (OTC Bulletin Board: TWOC.OB) that owns and operates casinos in the Czech Republic along the German and Austrian borders, and manages one casino near Split, Croatia.
After an aggressive reorganization in 2000, the Company’s team has applied its expertise in managing casinos and hotels to successfully turn the company to profitability within three years. This has provided TWC with a solid foundation for expansion, which is consistent with the Company’s growth strategy, including green field development, acquisitions, joint ventures, and management contracts.
TWC’s strength lies in the operation of small-to-medium-sized casinos and hotels. The Company emphasizes strong marketing programs, superior customer service, and solid operational policies and procedures for its properties.
For the casino division, TWC created the brand name of AMERICAN CHANCE CASINOS (ACC), and has implemented several design themes to better enhance the guest experience, including: New Orleans, Chicago in the roaring 1920s, the Pacific South Seas, and 1950s Miami Beach.
For the hotel division, TWC is planning the development of three hotels, which will be located on or near the sites of three of the ACC casinos. Construction began on the first of these three hotels, Hotel Savannah, adjacent to the Route 59 casino. It is scheduled for completion in late 2008. In addition, TWC is simultaneously focused on developing or acquiring four-star, boutique hotels of 80 – 400 rooms located in key metropolitan and resort areas in Europe.
